How Than Hsiang Has Enriched My Life

My mother was a generous woman, she often gave dana to the temple and the poor. Also she strictly observed her precepts and did nothing to harm other people or animals. As a result she received abundant reward: a sizeable family! 8 of them became doctors, 2 went into engineering, and again others do business.Her good deeds were rewarded: they helped her to lead a very meaningful life.

I myself, however, never worshipped any gods or deities until my mother's death. At that time I felt very depressed and sorrowful; I had lost beloved mother.

As I had a nasty temperament, my busy life was full of annoyances.After my mother's dead, when a hundred days had past, I dreamt about her. In this dream she told me that now she is in a good place and enjoys a good health. This dream inspired me to come to Than Hsiang to offer whatever I would have to offer.

After two years joining the activities of Than Hsiang I improved and enriched myself a lot, and I will continue to practice the dharma and devote myself to Than Hsiang. In brief, I intend to follow my mother's path on the way of Buddha.

Than Hsiang gave us a lot. What we received proves wonderful dharma. While others prefer plenty of food and drink after every function or program, we don't. As devotees we know that Than Hsiang has very high expenses, so we should offer our contributions. I wish to ask everyone: don't stop contributing to Than Hsiang in any kind you wish or are capable of.
