Three Masters One Message
by Wong Weng Hon

Knowing of the truth of human personality,
The greatest mission in life.
Two categories of human beings:
The wise and the fool.
Thus utterered the three great East Asian saints.
Gotama Buddha, Lao-zi and Confucius.

Gotama perceives Non-self and Dependent Co-arising.
Lao-zi realizes tranquillity and Non-action of all actions.
Confucius actualizes innate supreme virtue and the Mean.
Hence innate supreme wisdom is unveiled.
Perfect morality is manifested through conduct.
What is actualized internally is revealed externally.
The greatest hidden treasure in Man is disclosed.

The wise perceives the Truth;
He is mentally appeased;
Thereby becoming virtuous;
He is peaceful with himself;
And also peaceful with the environment.
He is liberated experiencing bliss.

The fool perceives the Appearance.
He is mentally perturbed;
He is entangled;
He is deluded;
Committing the unwholesome;
Experiencing anguish.

A common message is declared:
Self-cultivation engenders harmony;
Non-cultivation create enmities.
Every human being is intrinsically supreme.
Know the human personality as it really is.
And be awakened from sleep.

Having reached the mountain peak,
The enchaniting view offers itself.
No one can ascend the mountain for you;
You walk the path yourself.
There is never a free lunch in the world.
No pains and therefore no gains.
