downloading the torrent file
Hello,
first of all thank you for the effort in creating a Buddhist Studies DVD. That's great!!
Downloading the torrent file doesn't seem to work. Is there a possibility to download directly the whole file, without having to use torrent? Would be helpful!
thanks for respond!
Greetings,

about how to download
Hi!
Your DVD looks great. But I have a question for you about how to download. The question is if I click the torrent file can I get all the dictionaries and other items in the dvd you displayed including Ubuntu 9.04? Or Is it possible to download only dictionaries? Please let me know.
Thank you.
From a far away from you.
You can download the three
You can download the three dictionaries for Buddhist studies from this site:
Pali-English English-Pali Dictionary
Buddhist Dictionary by Nyanaponika
CKJ Buddhism Dictionary

WWBD (What Would Buddha Do?)
Somehow it doesn't seem in the spirit of Buddhism or Linux to limit who has access to a distro. Linux contains OpenSource efforts and was created as something to share, not limit access to :(
It could so easily be put up to SourceForge for all to benefit from and even in the screen shots you see the distro is USING SourceForge material
sad sad sad
Good comment
I am testing this DVD at this stage, and will put it on Torrent share later.
Wow, great!!
I just typed in the ubuntu and Buddhist studies as a joke and found out there is one!! I am really surprised.
I am doing Buddhist studies focusing a lot on Japanese Buddhism and esoteric Buddhism, so I was wondering if you were planning to add related features. Good are Muller's DDB Digital Dictionary of Buddhism, for which there is also a firefox plugin, I think. Another is the SAT tripitaka database. I have tons of good links. Send me an email if you want
