Day Care

In addition to being an early education centre, Than Hsiang Kindergarten and Child Care Centre provides full day and half-day care services to meet the needs of busy, working parents.

Rest assured your child will revel in our “home away from home” ambience and under the loving care, attention and guidance of our trained caregivers, your child will not want for anything.

There is a racial mix of children in the Centre so your child will learn at a young age how to live in racial harmony and probably be multi-lingual too.

School work is supervised and light activities, such as story telling, nursery rhymes, reading, jigsaw puzzles, and playing with educational toys, are all incorporated in the daily schedule, which is flexible as the children are allowed to choose the activity of interest to them.

Daily schedule:

•  Warm shower
•  Vegetarian lunch of 3 dishes and 1 soup (Food is hygienically prepared and, with daily change in menu, is appetizing.)
•  Two hour nap time between 2:00pm to 4:00pm
•  Tea time
•  Physical activity of music and movement, art and craft, recreation play, sand play, and water play.
