On August 25th (3rd day of the 7th lunar month), Than Hsiang temple held a Noon Offering ceremony and chanting of the Amitabha Sutra to commemorate the 27th anniversary of the memorial prayer service for the late Venerable Siew Chin.

At around 10 a.m., in the Great Compassion Hall , the chanting of Amitabha Sutra was led by Most Venerable Wei Wu, New Abbot Venerable Zhen Sheng and other Sangha members. This was followed by the Noon Offering ceremony.

Although the number of participants was modest, everyone chanted with sincere devotion, deeply honoring the memory of the late Venerable Siew Chin. Afterwards, under the guidance of the Sangha members, the ceremony proceeded to the ancestral hall to dedicate the merits before the Venerable Siew Chin’s memorial tablet. Upon completion of the dedication, the commemorative memorial prayer service concluded successfully.
