Than Hsiang Temple will be hosting a Vegetarian Food Festival from 21st to 29th October 2025 (1st to 9th day of the 9th lunar month).

On the first day of the Vegetarian Food Festival, all staff and volunteers began their duties early in the morning, working harmoniously and with focus. Some were stationed at the noodle stall packing noodles, others were preparing lunch boxes, cutting vegetables, or delivering meals to designated locations.

The lunch boxes on the first day featured a rich variety of dishes, including Vegetarian Curry Mutton, Stir-Fried Mang Guang, and Braised Tofu. The noodle options included including Delicious Jawa Mee, Pasembur and Roti Jala.

The Vegetarian Food Festival spans 9 days, with Than Hsiang Canteen operating daily from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. A variety of vegetarian food stalls are available, along with a lunch box delivery service.
We warmly invite everyone to embrace a vegetarian diet during this auspicious period- whether by visiting the temple to savor healthy meals or by ordering for delivery. Let us gather in kindness and cultivate blessings together.
