First of all, I would like to thank Venerable Wei Wu and all members and staff of Than Hsiang Foundation and IBC for giving us a chance to visit Malaysia. I am very grateful to be able to visit Malaysia because it is my first time I come to Malaysia. I went to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. I saw many places and beautiful nature. My group went to East Malaysia. At first I gave Dhamma talk at Pahang Buddhist Association on 26 February 2006. We also visited some nice places there.
In this tour, I learnt a lot such as Malaysian culture. There is unity and many Buddhist activities. I could not express my feelings knowing about Malaysia. In the ten days I have been here, I visited many places. When I saw the big Chinese temple, I was very surprised because Malaysia is a Muslim country. It is very grateful for us to see the Buddhist followers' faith in the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha. But I cannot understand why in that temple no bhikkhus are staying.
So I am very pleased and happy to visit Malaysia. I learnt many things about culture, daily life and the religious activities. Again I would like to thank all members and staff of Than Hsiang Temple and IBC.
Thank you.
